Step 1 Check for utilities

Contact Miss Utilities for: 'Request a Locate' by having all underground utilities located for a single address/residence using Single Address Ticket to ensure nothing is where you would like the pool to go . 

RED lines are underground power which have to be five feet away from the pool 

Overhead power lines must be a minimum of ten feet off to the side .

ORANGE lines are communications  such as cox cable or verizon which you can have moved .

YELLOW are  gas lines

Step 2 Apply for building permit 

most cities require the following to be submitted 

• Copy of land survey 
• Copy of pool + ladder + pump instructions 
• Receipt for the pool 
• Electrical permit 
• Pool
